Overall, the Colorado Rockies had a successful season despite losing a heart breaking game 4 in the NL Divisional Series to the defending World Series Champions Philadelphia Phillies. The Rockies started out the season very slowly going 18-28 but then caught fire in the second half of the season and nearly overtook the L.A. Dodgers for the National League West division title. The Rockies finished the regular season 92-70 and didn't give up when the could have earlier in the year.
